Job description, responsibilities and duties

Main responsibilities and tasks:

The SCA GHS plant in Gemerská Hôrka (Slovakia) is looking for a new management team member in the position of Plant Quality Manager.

Main responsibilities:
• Optimize, harmonize and continuously develop the quality systems
• Interface with customers to resolve quality issues by driving permanent and effective corrective/preventative actions
• Manage and develop the quality team

Main Tasks:
• Continuously develop systems and processes for Quality management
• Manage audits and certifications
• Benchmarking of the internal quality systems to stimulate development
• Manage customer and consumer complaints according the Hygiene process and system (SAP)
• Maintain and develop our quality benchmarking system an process
• Develop KPI systems to monitor quality development
• Support the implementation of the Global Hygiene Supplier Standard
• Interface with customers to resolve quality issues
• Drive permanent and effective corrective/preventative actions
• Work with all departments to ensure customer quality requirements are understood and met
• Provide effective feedback to the management team with regard to customer concerns and issues
• Represent Gemerska Horka in international SCA quality networks

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Microsoft Outlook - Advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - Advanced
SAP - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements:
• 3 - 5 year experience in production environment with quality management experience
• University degree in engineering or quality related field
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, FMEA, Statistical Process Control, DOE, and Gage R&R
• Fluent English and Slovak language skills, both spoken and written
• Basic math skills and statistics for industrial applications
• Problem solving approach, ability to work methodically and be practical and logical in implementation
• Computer literacy, SAP knowledge
• High level of analytical skills, planning and organising
• Able to work individually with limited supervision
• Flexible with high level of initiative and ambition to achieve result
• Well organised, able to focus on several issues and prioritise effectively
• Ability to build effective team
• High level of commitment, loyalty and dedication
