Overview

As a HR Manager you support the delivery of the HR strategy mainly for Sales and Marketing organization and Product Supply Tissue organization. You work in partnership with the business to provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enable our Business Units to effectively deliver their people plans. Furthermore you provide HR services that deliver best practice and commercially focused HR solutions, which support the business area in conjunction with other specialist HR functions. You will be responsible for around 150 SCA employees. Beside the HR management role you are also leading the Learning & Development or Employer Attractiveness activities or Com & Ben area for SCA in Slovakia and Czechia. The position is based in Bratislava, with regular traveling to Hlohovec and Prague.

Main Tasks

• Work as a partner to local business teams to ensure professional HR support in all operational HR issues related to performance management, organizational and people development and change management.
• Equip key assigned local business teams with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in line with their people plans, e.g. performance management, annual organizational and talent review, career management, and development of teams
• Responsible for providing assistance and guidance to line management and employees on a broad and local range of human resource policies programs and practices.
• Responsible for designing local contracts in close cooperation with our Compensation and Benefits team. You are the first contact for all compensation and benefits questions.
• Advise on labor law, collective agreement and policy related issues concerning employees to make sure that SCA is compliant.
• Responsible for employee on boarding plan, process, activities (e.g. relocation of employees) and follow up in cooperation with the Global Business Services Team.
• Participates in interviews and finalizes recruitment process with Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition Team.
• Closely cooperates with the Works Council on site.
• Facilitate team development workshops.
• Lead L&D or Employer Attractiveness or C&B area as “key user” for the other colleagues from HR team, be member of international professional SCA networks in selected area

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

• University degree or comparable education
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager preferably in an international environment and in S&M customers
• Experience with HR systems and tools, preferable SAP HR
• Good knowledge of labor law, eager to keep yourself updated on changes
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Effective in communication and negotiation
• Very good team player and high customer orientation
• Self-starter and result orientation
• Fluent in Slovak (or Czech) and English
