Job description, responsibilities and duties

Final candidate:
•Understands the respective SAP industry solution/application component, the business processes of that market, and the customer’s system landscape
• Possesses high functional credibility, to convince customer’s business and IT representatives, and to build confidence into the offering of SAP CD
• Builds and maintains a strong network into the respective Development Area/IBU, SAP Consulting and Sales (including Presales/Business Development, Industry Principals) and in the respective partner sphere and actively involves within existing communities like FS hub/practices, GCDE architectural forums
• Understands and has the experience of custom software development, the key business requirements for execution, and a good understanding of scoping at high level
• Is able to write Solution Proposals (recognizing existing CD processes requiring GCDE approval for offer creation), to sketch solutions/architectures together with the customer, and to integrate considerations on feasibility and commercial impact.
• Acts pro-actively and success-driven, with a “can do” attitude
• Drives revenue generation by identifying e.g. functional gaps or optimization potential in the standard solution as well as in the customer‘s landscape
• Supports presales activities for FBS/RCS solutions
• Is able to create professionally looking presentations
• Executes qualifications and functional / technical evaluations for CDPs
• Performs high-level analysis of, and structures customer business processes as well as requirements – to support project evaluations with proposed solutions
• Supports the creation of roll-out material for FBS/RCS solutions
