Supply coordinator Žiar nad Hronom

The role of the Supply Coordinator is to work as the “main Sandvik face” towards sub-suppliers. The employee in this position will be located at the sub-supplier's production site in Žiar nad Hronom (supplier of screen and feeder equipment for construction industry) and will be reporting to Supply Manager located in Finland.

Main tasks
• Being local contact link between sub-supplier and Sandvik Company
• Being present during final test of the units to ensure meeting high quality standards of the production and accept delivery before the units will be sent to customer
• Ensure continuous improvement in production costs & quality by being present during the production process
• Ensure that Sandvik high standards in the below areas are met at sub-supplier’s production process:
o Compliance
o EHS
o Quality
o Lead times
o Technical details & documentation
o Packing
o Forwarding
• Sign the forwarders documents on behalf of Sandvik
• Basic reporting
