SABIC is now hiring an ambitious Automotive Technical Account Manager for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Southern Germany.

The Challenge
Growing our polymers business in the Automotive segment by successfully positioning our solutions in engineering resins and compounds at selected OEMs and Tiers.

Job purpose & responsibilities
The Technical Account Manager works on the interface between Customer and Company, providing application, process and product expertise, collecting market intelligence and identifying business opportunities. He or she supports innovation processes, develops business and resolves occurring issues in close collaboration with our customers and with his/her peers in adjacent functions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role concerning polymers, processing or design.
  • Product experience with engineering resins and compounds.
  • Industry experience in the area of Automotive appreciated.
  • Ability to lead, direct, guide, plan & develop new projects and programs at customers.
  • Having good communication skills, being goal oriented, decisive and focused.
  • Enjoying a multicultural environment and working in multidisciplinary cross teams.
  • Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak or German.
  • Willing to serve customers also outside the home base.
