Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a candidate for position of IT Network Architect for our customer Jaguar Land Rover in Nitra region.
The Network Architect will be responsible for the generation of IT network architectural and designs and associated artefacts, based on supplied business and technical requirements, for a large international manufacturing programme.
Main responsibilities:
• Accountable for delivery of one or more Projects within Schedule, Cost and Quality
• Develop, maintain and distribute standard project management deliverables e.g. plan, schedule, reporting, budget, RAID log, meeting minutes, contingency plans
• Participate and /or Lead in vendor, third party selection processes or engagement of third parties via Statements of Work
• Manage all inbound and own outbound dependencies with other work streams and projects or packaged deliveries of work
• Coordinate and manage the delivery teams for the assigned Projects
• Change Control Process

Key requierements needed in order to undertake this role:
Must-Have:
• Cisco CCNP Wireless / Security certification
• Strong background in end-to-end network architecture and design, from conceptual level through to detailed level
• Deep understanding of WiFi network design, e.g. indoor and outdoor design consideration and attributes, surveying, etc.
• Strong working background in LAN and WAN environments, including perimeter services and security (firewalls, security contexts etc.)
• Excellent requirements analysis and verification skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Good understanding of physical networking environments, e.g. civils (buried channels), cabling and containment design/best practice)
• Ability to technically lead and direct packages of work (where required), including direction of other team members and outsourced resources
Desirable:
• Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive
• Large programme experience
• Global / international collaboration, i.e. with international colleagues and vendors
• Technical / architectural governance experience
• Experience of integrating IT networking requirements into construction programmes
