Quality Systems Engineer

The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality system of the plants assigned to him/her in accordance with the company management system, international reference standards and customer specific requirements (CSR). He/she is responsible for planning and conducting internal audits in co-operation with local management to ensure that the system, processes, and products meet customer and regulatory requirements. He/she is also responsible for preparing and participating in external audits (by third parties and customers).
Main tasks:
• Support the production sites in the preparation and execution of external audits and ensure the implementation of customer and IATF requirements in each production site under his/her responsibility
• Management of the internal audit at each production site in the own area of responsibility
• Maintaining and improving the quality management system and internal standards across the various production sites
• Training of personnel in quality processes
• Management of customer portals for topics related to quality systems
• Management of other activities in accordance with applicable regulations and customer-specific requirements (e.g. conflict minerals reporting)
• Defining and updating the annual program for internal process audits in accordance with customer requirements and applicable standards
• Support and conduct internal process audits in accordance with the audit plan and manage associated corrective actions
• Coordinate, prepare and conduct audits requested by the customer
• Define and implement other audit plans (e.g. 5S, LPA).
• Defining competences and monitoring the training of internal auditors
• Preparing and analyzing quality and customer satisfaction reports
• Developing and managing improvement projects that promote the development of the quality system
• Participation in various projects in the area of quality
• Updating customer portals in relation to certifications, self-assessments, and monitoring customer evaluation in relation to the quality management system.
• Support, assistance, and representation in the fulfilment of tasks within the area of responsibility.
