This role acts as the key business partner to the commercial organization of Roche Slovensko - Diagnostics Division. You will be joining the Finance & Supply Chain function, as one of the two Analysts, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your in-depth business understanding combined with financial expertise contribute to driving initiatives forward that are critical to delivering our strategy. Part of this role is to build networks across the organization (including the Finance Excellence Chapters), to share best practices and co-create solutions that generate value for the affiliate, the enterprise and the customer. You are a trusted  thought partner to business stakeholders and have close contact with customers, where you will ensure efficient resource allocation and maximum impact along the customer journey.

Career Challenges and Opportunities

  • Monitor and manage customer performance over the whole contract life cycle with a profitability and outcomes based perspective
  • Play active part in ensuring sustainable commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions and implementing sustainable pricing strategies 
  • Key partner for developing a coherent affiliate commercial strategy as well as commercial business related processes such as business planning, opportunity prioritization and creative strategies for revenue generation
  • Partner with the business and support co-lead touchpoints throughout the whole customer journey with an enterprise mindset
  • Balance resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities
  • Actively manage the cash flow position of the company 
  • Drive the planning process, ensuring  financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advise on deviations and corrective actions across the affiliate
  • Propose and drive ideas for P&L improvement - upsell opportunities, efficiency/waste improvement, risk reduction, channel filling
  • Collaborate with the eCoE (Enterprise Centre of Excellence), regional Finance Team and FxP (Finance Excellence Partner) Chapter to develop and maintain a high-quality affiliate insights and processes
  • Stay abreast of and scan the internal and external business landscape for trends, issues and opportunities to create value
  • Participate in Finance communities to learn, share and implement best practices across markets

Who You Are

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or related field
  • 3+ yearswork experience in Finance, preferably in pricing or as a Finance Business Partner in a healthcare company
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a solid understanding of management accounting
  • Experience working with and for the customer and interacting with colleagues beyond the Finance function
  • Knowledge and expertise of healthcare systems, market dynamics, and competitor landscape highly preferred
  • Systems Thinker understanding the downstream and upstream impact
  • End to End (E2E) enterprise mindset with an ability to put all available financial and operational information into a holistic picture
  • Actively seeking input and building relationships with other stakeholders in the ecosystem
  • Be a key enabler in influencing better business decision-making
  • Negotiation skills with an ability to support successful win-win outcomes
  • Entrepreneurial, commercial and customer centric mindset
  • Ability to work and thrive in a networked environment, cross-departments, stakeholders and geographies

  • Robust analytical skills, including business process improvement expertise

  • Experience working with MS Excel / Google Sheets, preferably experience working with SAP 
  • Fluent in English, Slovak or Czech preferred
