Packaging Project Engineer

Make and validate packaging specifications for internal or external material subassemblies and finished goods (on every level of material flow if needed).
To meet and validate internal and external specification taken from various departments/suppliers/customers (ergonomics, long lifetime, quality, dimension specification, way of handling- user friendly aspect, way of production, special requirements from 3PL-returnable, one-way packaging…etc).
Make and follow planning (internal, Suppliers and customers)
Prepare and participate to supplier sourcing board
Define and validate packaging (IOD, prototype, pre serial, serial and spare parts for both inbound and outbound and Inter Co)
To secure maintenance of defined internal and external packaging through appropriate external company or via internal sources (to be defined trough analysis) in order to not jeopardize production processes by securing internal/ external packaging availability.
To define logistics equipment budget for coming period per project and to keep it.
To make and keep up to date packaging instruction for internal and external packaging
Create purchase orders and packaging code in GBC if necessary
Analyze and define inbound and outbound costs and make packaging budget
Define and optimize packaging standards (density, best practices…)
Follow customer´s packaging specifications and requirements.
To constantly improve internal and external packaging in order to achieve best results (quality, ergonomics, supplier/customer/ internal requirements…etc).
