Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Receive and validate incoming orders are complete and accurate, with appropriate margins, discounts, hardware configurations, and customer information.
- Procurement of data and voice equipment and services for all Managed Services and Outsourcing customers, globally, using a variety of tools and databases (e.g. GPS, ePRo / Ariba), from an Equipment Order List, Bill of Material, and Supplier Quote.
- Create Purchase Requisitions following Schedule of Authorizations and proper accounting principles per service offer or customer.
Ensure all equipment is delivered to End User Customer location or centralized staging center.
- Use approved suppliers, globally and locally in country, who can provide the equipment at the best cost within the required interval.
Track and report on Purchase Order status in GPS, EFMS, Procman and all other tools, on a regular basis.
- Manage the Purchase Order activity from end to end, including RMAs for Out of Box failures, equipment shortages and overages, missing and defective equipment, expedites and escalations.
- Resolve billing and invoice disputes.
- Use returned inventory as a cost savings to the Product Management organization who owns the service, prior to the purchase of new equipment.
- Coordinate all procurement activity with Equipment Suppliers and Manufacturers, Project Managers, Engineers, Account and Sales teams, Finance, Product Management and Billing teams.

- Work experience preferred in telecommunications industry or related field


- Computer skills: Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, Windows
- Experience with different software packages (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- General telecommunications hardware and software technology and network knowledge
- Cisco hardware knowledge or basic WAN /LAN networking
- Procurement systems and tools


- Good communication, analytical, and problem solving skills, flexible, stress resistant
- Good team player, with ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with management
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment. Positions are located in Bratislava, Slovakia and Kosice, Slovakia
- Demonstrated success working directly with clients remotely and in-person.
- Availability to work overtime, off shift, weekend, on-call, etc. as required.
