Job description, responsibilities and duties

• cooperation with the business colleagues in developing and improving retail products by making sure the compliance with internal directives regarding procedures, tools usage, approval process, etc.
• Assuring that there is a local PAP regulation in place, clearly defined where Risk has to be involved and where sign-off from Risk is a must.
• Being responsible for risk costs budgeting and forecasting process from Risk side.
• Representing the risk opinion in the day-to-day projects and activities related to the retail products development. Monitoring progress of other departments in implementing risk related programs and processes, identifying issues, helping to resolve them
• Helping to develop forecasts for products, manage CRM and risk based pricing programs (analysis, proposals and implementation with other departments), monitor and report on suggestions submitted from the product users, etc.
• Monitoring reports on business & risk results, analyzing developments, identifying issues and helping devise new actions plans to ensure risk criteria are measured, reported and positively used to further retail products & policies/strategies improvement
• Being responsible for implementation of system related checks for fraud prevention, developing process for monitoring of courier activities, identifying fraud patterns and trends
• Maintaining current knowledge of industry, market, business and products.

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree in business administration or economics
• Min. 4 years’ experience in retail banking risk management or retail banking operations preferably in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills, good understanding of market opportunities and potential risks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, high level of initiative and persistence, dynamic and self-starting, cultural awareness, team orientation
• Creative and solution-oriented approach combined with strategic thinking
• Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment
• Excellent command of English; CEE language is desirable but not required
