Job description, responsibilities and duties
PURPOSE
To perform regular searches of pre-selected websites to check for new entries or updates regarding HTA (Health Technology Assessment); identify new information and capture it to create/update regulatory, country records. This work is instrumental to ensure that the HTA Accelerator platform has up to date intelligence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform the following checks in multiple languages:
- Weekly HTA agency (HTA reports & Agency characteristics and policies)
- Weekly Regulatory Agency (new approvals or licence extensions / withdrawals)
- Quarterly check for major changes in Country Data & Country characteristics
- Identify new entry/update (Country, HTA agency, Regulatory Agency)
- Create / update a country policy and pricing record
- Make annual update to country records
- Check clinical evidence for existing up to date clinical record
- Check for existing technology; disease (sub-)type
- Create/update regulatory record
- Create/update country pricing records (EU5 & US)
- Create/update HTA / clinical record
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Essential
- Clinical and preferably health economics experience of at least 3 yrs
- Fluent in English & French or German or Polish, especially in written communication
Desirable
- Statistical experience
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience, of which minimum 3 years in healthcare and/or clinical research and/or health economics. Bachelor’s degree minimum.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
- Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
- Regular sitting for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel
