Job description, responsibilities and duties

RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet with stakeholders to analyze needs, determine objectives, background information, and presentation approaches, styles, and techniques. Act as “Company Expert” on all style matters ensuring house/client styles are adhered to as appropriate.

 Confer with creative, copywriting, or production department heads to discuss stakeholder requirements and presentation concepts, and to coordinate creative activities.

 Manage the scope of work, objectives, and quality of deliverables to ensure a flawless execution of projects and creative campaigns.

 Actively participate in the development of new business, including development of proposals and budgets.

 Maintain knowledge and awareness of latest market trends, needs, and best practices.

 Provide creative advice/consultancy across the company in areas of expertise. Interact with graphic designers, production, and other stakeholders to offer input and support on creative concepts.

 Provide direction, support and troubleshooting for department to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor procedures/processes to ensure Creative Department operates at maximum efficiency.

 Provide input into the development and implementation of department standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working practices to meet industry standards and client expectations.

 Liaise with account teams in project planning/forecasting/scheduling, in order to assist management with workloads/allocating accounts effectively. Estimate creative hours for budgets/assist in developing standard hours templates, and delivers projects in accordance with budgeted hours and agreed deadlines.

 Facilitate relationship between Creative and other departments to ensure effective communication between teams.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Adobe Illustrator - Advanced

Microsoft Windows - Advanced
Adobe InDesign - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 Cross-platform experience (MAC/PC).

 Knowledge of current Adobe Suite applications (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator), Acrobat, Quark, Suitcase Fusion.

Adobe Captivate and Presenter experience necessary.

 Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet).

 Ability to define and solve complex communication problems through visual representation/interpretation.

 Extensive knowledge of current print/production procedures and timelines, and ideally experience in studio/production management and dealing direct with suppliers.

 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

 Excellent eye for detail.

 Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

 Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

 Ability to work to tight timelines, and collaborate with colleagues to meet team deadlines.

 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with all stakeholders.

 Commercial focus and financial awareness/ability to provide accurate hours estimates.

 Proactive approach to strengthening Creative team.



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 Bachelors degree in a field related to art or graphic design with 5 years of industry experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.

Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.

Regular sitting for extended periods of time.

May require occasional travel.
