Job description, responsibilities and duties

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Support and Operations Engineer located in one of our Slovakia offices (Námestovo, Žilina). The applicant should be a technical minded individual with the desire to expand their current knowledge and experience within Microsoft driven technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a hard work ethic, customer interaction, good communication skills (verbal and written in English) and a desire to learn to this fast paced and rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:
• Be the first point of contact for customer calls and emails
• Confirm the client is under contract, incident details and contact information
• Provides technical consulting as part of a team that provides customer support.
• Troubleshoots complex technical problems and works with various teams to consistently and efficiently deliver high quality resolution to customer issues
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with employees, internal partners, vendors, and customers.
• Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the customer’s system
• Interfaces with customers regarding specific customer dependent projects or deliverables and status
• Provides operational support for the managed environment, including but not limited to patch management and proactive platform management.

Personality requirements and skills

• 1-2 years of customer support experience beneficial
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL beneficial
• Knowledge of Archiving Systems (Enterprise Vault, etc.) beneficial
• Understanding of network topologies
• Ability to read and understand design documents
• Ability to multi-task and exceptional time management skills
• Good written and verbal level of English and willingness to learn quickly
• Willing to travel
• Working 2nd shift (15h00 to 23h00) with 1 hour break
