Job description, responsibilities and duties

As part of a growing operations in Slovakia, Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations of bookkeeping, office administration and Human Resources function. Administrative Assistant liaises closely with Admin Department of the company to provide an employee focused and effective HR support to the hiring managers, employees and partners of the company.

This position requires a very high level of attention to details. With the budgeted increase in the headcount, the pace of the office is always very fast and it is required to keep up with the deadlines, for instance to submit documentation top payroll or provide on-boarding orientation to an employee.

Responsibilities
• Double-entry bookkeeping
• Assist with recruitment process. Update census.
• Effective and timely on boarding of new staff members.
• Manage administrative functions of the offices in regards to: Payroll, food tickets, employees’ benefits.
• Ensure overall compliance to Slovak employment laws.
• Ensure sufficient level of insurance coverage for the offices and travel.
• Be a contact person for state authorities: Healthcare Insurance companies, Social agencies, Tax office.
• Cash Flow control – ensure sufficient funds in the bank account.
• Oversee preparation of monthly financial accounts and submit to the Head Office before the due date.
• Manage Accounts Payable and intercompany invoices.
