Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Implementing and ensuring adherence to quality requirements imposed by standards and requirements by customers and by the company.
To support production & Research Department (R&D), as well as external customers by providing testing results as may be required

Quality:

•Generation of manufacturing specifications, inspection certificates, test & control plans, initial sample test reports, test instructions, work and operating instructions, test reports
•Processing complaints (customers and suppliers)
•Production control
•Test equipment, Document management
•Internal audits, incl. preparation of reports, definition of measures to be taken and monitoring their enforcement; processing of measures
•Attending customer and certification audits, incl. definition of measures to be taken and monitoring their enforcement; processing of measures
•Generation / moderation and maintenance of P-FMEA
•Organization or implementation of product-specific tests for incoming goods and production, including special tests
•Doing preparatory work at the central QM department in Lenzburg for generating process sequences for the Nitra plant
•Cooperation in projects (e.g. APQP as Pool Leader)
•Management of or cooperation in teams for improvement measures, problem solving, implementation of measures
•Evaluation of statistical data
•Ensuring implementation of safety regulations
•Issuing data for data sheets, technical delivery conditions
•CAQ software CAQ-QSYS: planning of tests, evaluation, measuring equipment
•Participation in production of samples including test plan, compilation of samples in lists, information to entity who ordered the samples

Laboratory

•Preparation, conducting and evaluation of mechanical-physical analyses (tension, impact, bending tests, MFR, density, glass contents and incineration residues) according to test instructions, respectively standard
•Cooperation with the manufacturer of the testing equipment in terms of maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting as well as tracking of latest developments in the area of measurement technology
•Contacts with external laboratories and suppliers
•Maintenance of the databases (CAQ, Consense and others)
•Inspection of incoming goods
•Preparation of tests, setting up the testing machines, referencing and maintenance of the testing equipment
•Evaluation, assessment and analysis of test results
•Drafting of test reports, also in English

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

•Experience in the world of standards ISO 9001 (at least); TS 16949 (helpful)
•QS technologies (FMEA, 8D, APQP, 5W…) at least basics
•Internal Auditor training (can also be done after start)
•Experience in mechanical-physical analyses (at least “some”)
•Completed technical apprenticeship
•Organizational skills
•Reliability, Resilience, Objectivity, Flexibility
•Ability to work in a team
•Communicative
•Knowledge of English language
•Willing to reside abroad for several months at the outset
