Non Financial Risk Management Analyst (m/f)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you a type of person who prefers an investigative work, analyse information, communicate in an international environment and you are able to make a decisions on your own?

If your answer is ‘yes’ then we are probably looking for you - join our brand Shared Services Center’s growing team operating in the area of Risk Management.

Work in SSC is specific and different than work in other departments of PwC. It combines the advantages of working in a SSC and the unique environment of the largest consultancy network in the world.

Your challenges will include:
  • Complete pre-engagement compliance tasks, focusing on identification of potential conflict or sensitive situation
  • Performing research for client acceptance purposes - independence status of a potential client, background checks, ownership structure etc.
  • Working with internal databases – checking background of jobs already provided to client or 3rd parties and their potential conflicts (ethical walls)
  • Working with publicly available sources
  • Advising staff on risk management policies and procedures for engagement set up
  • Close cooperation and communication with our Risk Management colleagues from around the world
  • Arrange a complete documentation including preparation of necessary system records and ensure that the appropriate correspondence is filed
  • Ensuring that proper process documentation is in place

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in law, management or economics or an experience in similar role
  • Strong intellectual, organizational & technical skills with the desire to seek new learning opportunities to stay technical and relevant
  • Self-Starter capable of deciding what needs to be done without being told
  • Good communication skills in English, oral and written, with the ability to draft and deliver clear messages to partners and senior staff
  • Ability to think and plan ahead, be flexible and quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment, to cope with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team, whether with your colleagues or the practice with the ability to share and collaborate, creating a positive team spirit
