Your challenges will include:
- Complete pre-engagement compliance tasks, focusing on identification of potential conflict or sensitive situation
- Performing research for client acceptance purposes - independence status of a potential client, background checks, ownership structure etc.
- Working with internal databases – checking background of jobs already provided to client or 3rd parties and their potential conflicts (ethical walls)
- Working with publicly available sources
- Advising staff on risk management policies and procedures for engagement set up
- Close cooperation and communication with our Risk Management colleagues from around the world
- Arrange a complete documentation including preparation of necessary system records and ensure that the appropriate correspondence is filed
- Ensuring that proper process documentation is in place

Personality requirements and skills
- University degree in law, management or economics or an experience in similar role
- Strong intellectual, organizational & technical skills with the desire to seek new learning opportunities to stay technical and relevant
- Self-Starter capable of deciding what needs to be done without being told
- Good communication skills in English, oral and written, with the ability to draft and deliver clear messages to partners and senior staff
- Ability to think and plan ahead, be flexible and quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment, to cope with tight deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team, whether with your colleagues or the practice with the ability to share and collaborate, creating a positive team spirit
