Manager for TAX Audit (m/f)

We are excited to announce a unique and brand-new opportunity within our Tax Department at PwC. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading this innovative venture. This role involves the establishment of a new department, wherein the selected candidate will be responsible for creating processes, managing operations, and overseeing the recruitment of a dynamic team.

As we expand our portfolio of international projects, you will not only collaborate on ventures with foreign PwC territories but also take a central position in our local portfolio of tax projects. This role goes beyond traditional management responsibilities, offering you the chance to build and develop an entire department within the largest consulting company in Slovakia.

As our Manager for TAX Audit (m/f) you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• organizing and leading the preparation of allocated tax returns on your allocated client with more junior colleagues;
• preparation and review of corporate income tax returns for German clients;
• allocation of tasks to junior colleagues and review the deliverables;
• monitoring tax legislation, updating the processing accordingly and upskilling your team;
• cooperation with our German colleagues, involving occasional travel to the site.

You are who we are looking for if you have:

• 5+ years of experience with coordination of corporate income tax compliance for EMEA countries;
• good project management skills with ability to work on several projects simultaneously;
• ability to work in a team, train, develop and coach junior team members;
• attention to detail and self review skills;
• technology savvy in simplifying processes and seeking for the most efficient solutions to be implemented by the team;
• analytical skills and ability to identify problems and suggest solutions;
• ability to work and actively communicate in English or German
• knowledge of German tax compliance legislation is an advantage.
