VAT Litigation Manager
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our company is looking for an experienced colleague in the field of Tax litigation, preferably with some experience in the VAT area. The main job responsibilities cover:
Requirements:
- Representing client in Tax inspection process, including the appeal process and Court process
- Drafting comments and argumentation in the process of Tax Inspection, appeal and legal action
- Preparation of legal statements, consulting with Slovak and foreign colleagues in Tax Litigation area
- Cooperation with tax, audit and advisory department in litigation projects
- Supervising junior team members and developing their consulting skills and knowledge in Tax Litigation area
- Actively searching for new opportunity in the market in Tax Litigation, building a profile in the market
Requirements:
- university degree in the field of law
- bar exams
- a minimum of 3 years relevant experience with Tax Litigation
- fluent in Slovak and active knowledge of English (other languages are advantage)
- excellent communication and argumentation skills
- Slovak market knowledge
- general business knowledge
- flexibility and analytical skills
- detail and result oriented
