Senior AP accountant/ Team coordinator

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivables team in PwC SSC is looking for a new colleague for the position of AP senior with the extra responsibilities of the team coordination:

Key responsibilities will cover:
  • Responsibility for AP transactions
  • Analyze AP transactions and balances
  • Follow up on discrepancies in cooperation with other departments
  • Regular reconciliation and confirmation of intercompany accounts
  • Processing ad hoc journals
  • Month-end closing activities
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Identify potential process improvements in ITC area
  • Support other team members in day to day processes (GL/AR/AP area)

Personality requirements and skills

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Master’s degree in finance/accounting
  • At least 2 years practical experience in accounting (AP area is an advantage)
  • High attention to detail
  • Fluent English is required
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Strong customer driven focus
  • Sound analytical skills
