Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main task is to manage the IS deployment and organize activities related to the release process of solutions to testing and production information systems. The position is responsible for planning of specific release activities, coordination and support of testing teams, overseeing of creation and quality of release plans, monitor incident solution processes and adherence to configuration procedures.


• Management of SW deliveries to test and production IT environment
• Organization of handling of all related release activities
• Release activities planning, coordination and support of testing and deployment teams
• Release plans development supervision and quality control
• Operation / deployment specialists coordination during deployment / installation of release packages to test or production IT environment
• Test vs. production IT environment compatibility management
• Incidents solution process tracking and to oversee guidelines, processes, plans abidance
• Communication with SW suppliers and vendors
• Roll-out / cut-over management process executing
• Version management process executing
• Responsibilities: Organizational provision of IS releases in requested time
• Coordination of operation specialists in the process of installation into the production IS
• Provision of test environment versions compatibility with production
• Report to and communicate with suppliers

Personality requirements and skills

• Technical university/secondary school education + 2/5 years of professional experience
SW application and workflow systems experience, IT change management experience and experience with IS change management
• ITIL Release Management standards knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (including MS Project)
• General knowledge of IS support and management
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Communication and presentation skills, customer orientation, ability to work independently and as well in a team
• Fluent Slovak and English language skills
• Well organized personality, with excellent communication skills, team player
