We are looking for a candidate who can independently manage medium and large sized IT project /integration projects/.

Job Description

Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of a telco project comprising the complex project cycle from the analysis and design to its implementation.

Responsibilities

• Process management of planning, implementation and finalising of projects including project priority setting, change management and risk minimalisation management.
• Ability to set up the project (definition of scope, time plan, resources, budget, project organization, reporting structures, etc.)
• Ability to manage the project (effective control of a project scope, budget, deadlines and deliverables, reporting, issue management, vendor management)
• Ability to close down the project in timely fashion and budget guidelines
• Demonstrated understanding of change control, risk management, project planning, team management, budgeting and scheduling - Responsibility for resource assignment, time schedule and overall budget.
• Responsibility for communication with the project lead on the client´s side.
• Regular reporting
• Critical points identification and preparation of the means of their elimination
• Selection and implemetation of the project management methodology
• Quality management auditing of individual projects
• Software development methodology, Experience from software development and package implementation projects

Personality requirements and skills

- Successful track record of managing IT projects (software development) in the capacity of PM for at least 2, 3 years
- Experience in managing team of 10-15 developers, architects, analysts, testers, etc.
- Knowledge of project management methodology (full life cycle project management)
- PMI/PMP, Prince2 knowledge and certification nice to have
- Experience managing projects in Public & Governance industry
- High level knowledge of CRM/ERP applications - desired
- Detail knowledge of PM tools (e.g. MS Project, MS Professional Office) – must
- Detail knowledge of SW development methodologies and all phases of project life cycle (e.g. analysis / detail design / coding / testing / training / cutover, etc.)
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Practical team motivator
- Have a good tact and business sense – management of customer expectation
- Be a company man, being able to protect the interests of the company
- Advanced knowledge of English (written and oral)
