Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client, a distributor of branded sports, lifestyle, optical and military products, we are looking for suitable candidates on the position Retail Manager.

Job Description
• Complete responsibility for 4-5 different types of stores in Prague and Budapest
• Building up new / potential stores
• Cooperation on the E-commerce strategy
• Managing and motivating current team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
• Reaching financial objectives through preparation of the annual budget
• P&L responsibility
• Merchandising & Sales Promotion
• Determining changes in marketing strategy
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
• Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
• Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
• Ensuring standards for quality and customer service are met
• Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
• Responding to customer complaints and comments
• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
