Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The purchasing assistant is responsible for all administrative task related to purchasing documentation and contracts.
Therefore, his main activities are :
- assist Commodity Buyer on operational tasks
- phone call interception (local buyers), treatment of limited risks subjects (delivery tracking, synthesis of quotation from different suppliers), database analysis (example: price change anticipation) and exceptionally assist in purchasing file realization
- follow up suppliers activities
- managing SAP (updating purchasing prices, extracting management reposts, dealing with blocked invoices, creation of suppliers in the system...)
- support Commodity Buyers with suppliers paper work (supplier bank details changes etc.)
- managing sourcing agenda with Supply Project Managers
Therefore, his main activities are :
