Job description, responsibilities and duties

1-MISSION
- Responsible for commercial management of existing contracts;
- in conjunction with Key Account Manager/Sales Director identifies and secures Request For Quotations for new/replacement business in line with POAE sales strategy.
- Is an integral part of the project team responsible for project commercial activity, reporting to the Project Manager
- Protects the interests of PO in front of the customer and represents the interests of the customer at PO.
- Achievement of the objectives defined during annual appraisal with the Sales Director / Key Account Manager.

2-MAIN ACTIVITIES
- In conjunction with Sales Director/Business Unit Director defines pricing policy for new business and generates quotes [piece price, tooling, D&D] in accepted customer format i.e. QAF
- Responsible for maintaining/improving margins through Engineering Change Request process, productivity studies, updating customer Quotation Answer Form, performing contract review.
- Deals with the customer purchasing centres.
- Responsible for obtaining customer orders; oversees the timely settlement of invoices by the customers (tooling, D&D, piece price……..).
- Collates data for local market - competitor activity, volume/mix changes, R&I planning - liaises with POAE marketing department to ensure data base is current.
- Provides support to the plants i,e, secures orders in relation to extraordinary activity such as overtime, quality replacements, color change etc..
- establishes and develops the business relations with purchasing, engineering and R&D

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

- relevant practical experiences in Sales min. 5 years
- experience in automotive industry, preferably with customer VW and Skoda
- fluent Czech, German and English is a must
- good knowledge with MS Office and SAP
- strong negotiation skills
