PMO Analyst - a part-time job

Role Overview:

Plzeňský Prazdroj is the leading producer and exporter of Czech beer and produces beer in four breweries: Plzeňský Prazdroj and Gambrinus in Plzeň, Radegast in Nošovice and the Velké Popovice Brewery in central Bohemia. Plzeňský Prazdroj exports beer to more than fifty countries all over the world. Pivovary Topvar is the leading producer of beer in Slovakia and produces beer in brewery Velky Saris. Both companies combined their operations in 2014 and are part of SABMiller pls.

The PMO (Project Management Office) analyst will report to the CZ/SK Country Transformation Lead of Global Template Project ( globalisation of SAP system) and will work closely with the CZ/SK in-country Workstream Leads (mostly Operating Board) and an European Programme Manager (PM) of an European project that is a top priority for SABMiller.
A working place: preferably in Prague, but Velke Popovice or Bratislava are also acceptable.

It is a part time job with a limited contract ( up to May 2015).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date CZ/SK country implementation plan for all project workstreams, including key workstream milestones and monitor progress towards key milestones.
  • Manage in-country project workstreams dependencies and overall change programmes portfolio interdependencies.
  • Regularly update the project Country Transformation Lead and Programme Manager on the regional project implementation plan progress, status to-date, unforeseen setbacks or delays and key changes, impacting milestones.
  • Support the Country Transformation Lead in periodic Project Programme CZ/SK country reporting, including both, the project programme financial benefits / scorecard reporting and reporting of the overall CZ/SK country progress vs. plan.
  • Pro-actively support the project Country Transformation Lead in establishing and maintaining fit-for-purpose in-country project programme governance and prepare supporting materials for key local and global stakeholder / governance meetings (e.g. Operating Board Updates, Project Programme Updates, etc).
  • Manage the project in-country programme risks and issues (including appropriate mitigation) in line with the project programme methodology.
  • Support the Country Transformation Lead in responding to ad-hoc project programme information / clarification requests.

Key Requirements:

  • Education - minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of analytical / project management / or change project management experience in a multi-national, engineering, information technology, or a consultancy company ( “Big 4”)
  • Experience in interacting with and communicating with Board Level members and international stakeholders
  • Good project management and organisational skills, preferably acquired in rapidly moving projects with multiple interdependencies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex messages / content in simple and understandable manner
  • Ability to prioritise and plan effectively in an environment with a high degree of change
  • Good attention to detail, solid financial and general business acumen
  • Self-starter with energy and a desire to learn and contribute to a major transformation programme
  • Excellent or fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Excel or a suitable planning tool to develop / update project plans with multiple work streams
  • Good command of MS PowerPoint and ability to effectively and rapidly structure and edit content and graphical layouts
