Head of HR

We're a Slovak technology company with a global footprint, working with highly talented professionals. Currently we are on the lookout for a Head of HR to lead the development and execution of a strategic people plan aligned with our business goals in an international environment. Are you interested?

Your key responsibilities:

• Creating the HR strategy and responsibility for the HR budget.
• General HR partnering with the leaders to help understand the organization's mood & needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and performance improvement.
• Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including HR operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee relations, and Learning & development.
• Streamline and centralize HR processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the organization.
• Build a high-performing HR team with the expertise to support our global workforce, leveraging the strengths of the existing team structure (6 people).
• Navigate the complexities of HR in a global environment, including legal and compliance considerations.

Requirements:

Ideally, you already experienced a fast-growing organization and were one of the people who made the growth a success. But regardless of the specifics of your career journey, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Min. 3 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into actionable HR initiatives.
• Deep understanding of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Learning & Development best practices.
• Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
• Knowledge of Slovak labor law.
• Fluency in English and Slovak.
• Data-driven - good proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with leading HR in a company combining white and blue-collar is a plus.
• Experience leading a global HR function is a plus.
• Experience from start-ups and fast-growing companies is a plus.
