Job description, responsibilities and duties
• The Petrus Group seeks to employ an individual to execute the task of the group back office and treasury function (“Back Office Associate”)
• The role will include, but will not be limited to:
o Daily monitoring and reconciliation of investment positions in custody
o Daily reconciliation of individual trades
o Data collection, regular update of portfolio management systems, responsibility for the quality of data collected
o Monitoring and instructing upcoming corporate actions
o Cash accounts monitoring, reconciliations, payment instructions and bank balances control
o Daily reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and Portfolio Managers
o Various tasks to increase operational efficiency
o Active communication with various counterparties in the investment and settlement process (brokers, administrators, custodians)

University education (Bachelor's degree)
Educational Specialization

Language skills
English - Proficiency (C2) and German - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
The Individual
• Has completed her/his studies in accounting, business administration or a related field (Bachelor’s degree)
• Has worked in back/middle-office function in a financial or accounting firm with at least 1 year of business experience
• Experience working in EZESoft Tradar PMS and/or similar portfolio management systems is of advantage
• Speaks English and possibly also German
• Advanced user knowledge of MS Office tools
• Interest in financial markets is an advantage
• Has completed her/his studies in accounting, business administration or a related field (Bachelor’s degree)
