Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Country Account Manager for Slovakia. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in Slovakia, leveraging your knowledge of the veterinary industry and your network to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to support the acquisition of new clients - pet owners who visit veterinarians - and drive business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives. The role reports to the Managing Director for CZ and SK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thanks to an intense presence on the field, your primary responsibility will be to increase market penetration and drive growth in Slovakia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians, pet owners, breeders and other relevant industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams in Czech Republic to develop tailored solutions and offerings that meet the unique needs of the Slovakian market.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent PetExpert by Trupanion at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Qualifications:
- University degree
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the veterinary or pet care industry.
- Knowledge of the Slovakian veterinary industry, including key players, trends, and regulations.
- Established network of contacts within the veterinary community or related industries is a plus
- Native in Slovak and/or Czech and proficient in English.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
