Role and task:

Results orientation
- Is responsible for all production results: Financial efficiencies, Quality, Productivity, Safety, Environment, Costs, Planning respect, Motivation of people and development of the skills and technology
- This responsibility means: monitoring, improving, managing, reporting

Organization
- Has a direct hierarchical responsibility on the production responsible persons, has an indirect hierarchical or performance responsibility on the maintenance coordinators, on the process quality engineers, on the plant planners, on the plant technologists.
- Is responsible for the right supply of product quantity to the logistic department with the right quality requirement by ensuring the availability of machine and men:
- Machine: Is responsible for the machine performance and organize the requirement machine inspection and maintenance
- Men: Is responsible for the organization, occupation plan, training, absenteeism and motivation
- Quality: is responsible for the quality of the products and the quality performances of his products
- Safety and Environment: is responsible for the respect and application of the directions given by the safety and environment representative

Continuously improvement
- Organize daily performance check and fast response activities to correct identified deviations immediately
- Is leader and responsible of all continuously improvements in the plant
- Act at the stages of the PDCA cycle like Identification, delegation, monitoring, animation, result consolidation and coaching in the application improvement tools
- Organize plant and progress reviews or improvement workshop with its own employees and with the managers of the support function departments
- Is an active member of the World Class Manufacturing program

Standards
- Check and ensure the respect of the production and company standards / rules within its plant: internal rules, ISO TS, ISO 14001, OHSAS standards
- Participate to and prepare various audits and is responsible for the audit deviations found on his process and products
