Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Develop cost savings improvement strategies in line with customers' objectives
  • Create commodity strategies and provide guidance to buyers regarding the commodity strategies
  • Look for new suppliers in Eastern Europe
  • Support for design engineers in developing of new solutions
  • Locates and manages nonstandard components for new projects
  • Identify ongoing opportunities for better pricing, trading terms and operating process and systems
  • Lead supplier selection and negotiations
  • Build a strategy for categories which are locally managed

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Hungarian - Upper intermediate (B2)

  • At leat 2 years experience in Procurement, Purchasing or Suppy Chain
  • Advanced knowledge of English and Hungarian language
  • Interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate strong skills in project management
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
