Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position is based in Prague

  • Participation on reporting improvement projects in Penta group investee companies
  • Manages communication with external implementation / maintenance vendors and carries out testing of deliverables.
  • Conducts operational maintenance, development and administration of the system.
  • Drives the forecasting process (monthly, quarterly and long term).
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with reporters in investee companies.

Personality requirements and skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT, financial planning, analysis, management reporting, controlling or consolidation.
  • Experience with JEDOX, IBM Planning Analytics, Oracle, Anaplan or other reporting / consolidation tool (experience with JEDOX is a significant advantage, experience with any of these systems is a must).
  • Knowledge of Multi dimensional data bases and OLAP queries and report writing.
  • Analytical skills, financial thinking and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Relevant experience in asset management or wealth management, preferably in a senior role within a bank or financial institution.
  • Deep knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance issues in finance.
  • Knowledgeable on tax considerations for investments and their impact on net returns for HNWIs / Strong familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements specific to asset management and fund operations
