Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our client, a French leading manufacturer of industrial/ hardware products (Chain & Marking, Posts & Barriers, Signs, Storage containers, Steps,…), wishes to recruit an Area Sales Manager to market their products to a network of industrial/safety distributors, DIY chains and re-sellers in Slovakia and Czech Republic.
You will have total autonomy and will grow with the business. You will be home-based and sales focused. The candidate should be located in the region of Bratislava.
The ideal Candidate will:
Have a proven track record in a similar industry
Have ideally 5 years’ experience in a sales position.
Have experience of appointing, managing and motivating distribution channels.
Speak a native level of Slovakian and fluent in English and Czech (French is beneficial).
The main responsibilities will include:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the country.
Increasing company exposure in Slovakia & Czech Republic.
Building and managing relationships with accounts across Industrial supplies companies, DIY stores, Wholesalers…
Attending trade shows.
Reporting directly to the Export Sales Director based in France (follow up quotations, sales leads…).
