Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Perform regular General ledger activities
Responsibility for complete double-entry bookkeeping (IFRS)
Overall responsibility over consolidation activities for assigned region
Complete monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation
Maintenance of accounting GL master data
Reporting to entities and to HQ
Supervision and coordination of junior team members
Manage complex accounting work (monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities)
Monitoring of activities according to KPI´s
Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts in a timely manner
Ensuring correctness of the records on the general ledger level
Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system
Balance sheet reconciliation
Every-day work on continuous improvements of the department processes

Strong knowledge of International accounting standards
Practical knowledge and use of IT software MS Office, SAP will be a an advantage
Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills
Ability to provide clear leadership
Ability to work across various functional areas and to interact with individuals across all levels throughout the organization
Native Slovak and Fluent English skills or German skills are required (second language is advantage)
Strong knowledge of International accounting standards
