Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main purposes of the job are:
  • Direct the development and implementation of Orion Czech and Orion Slovakia Business Strategies
  • Deliver overall Czech and Slovak sales and profit targets/growth
  • Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business operation of Orion Czech and Orion Slovakia
  • Ensure effective performance management, and training and development of Czech and Slovakia

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Chairperson of the executive decision making group for the Czech and Slovak operations
  • Ensure the company’s business/operation activities meet the requirements of the respective regulations, Health & Safety regulations, Employment Laws and the Copyright laws
  • To lead Orion Czech and Orion Slovakia Sales and Marketing, Commercial Management, and Business Development Processes
  • To propose, monitor, and achieve Orion Czech and Orion Slovakia agreed business/financial objectives (e.g. sales/costs/profit budget figures)
  • To work closely with Orion Finland HQ and other Orion subsidiary colleagues to contribute to the development and ensure successful implementation of Global Business/Product Strategy locally
  • To work closely with Region support functions – Finance, HR etc. to contribute to the development and ensure successful implementation of regional initiatives and processes
  • Day to day management of direct line reports
  • Appraise and coach direct reports, encourage their continuous personal/professional development through relevant training
  • Maintain appropriate Industry/Key Customer knowledge/contact – represent Orion Czech and Orion Slovakia in key industry/professional/public events
