Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Engineer will be responsible for internal tool support and development for network configurations in the IP and Voice domains of Core Networks located in the Europe, Middle East and Africa countries.
Responsibilities

Act as owner of an internally developed web application and Unix based scripts providing automatic IP configuration
Responsible for communication with internal users and gathering information on user experience
Performs analysis of new requirements, suggests changes to functionalities of the tool
Responsible for application lifecycle, improvement, development and test
Provide full support for internal application users and external entities

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

IT /Telco area

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Technical skills
HTML / CSS – advanced (Smarty template library experience is a bonus)
PHP advanced
MySQL advanced (other database experience is a bonus)
Raw JS advanced + JS libraries experience (jQuery experience required)
scripting language with ability for parallel processing (e.g. Python)
GUI / functionality / architecture design with user experience in mind
Linux/Unix advanced

Optional technical skills are a big bonus
HTML5 + CSS3 experience PHP application testing (unit testing, etc.)
experience in PHP OOP application architecture & design with testing in mind from the start
experience with SPA architecture, without framework (experience with frameworks as a bonus, Angular, React, etc.)
JS / GUI / SPA application testing
JS OOP libraries experience
Ansible, Yang modeling, etc
