- Driving supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement
- Performing regular quality control audits of supplier’s facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures
- Support day-to-day management of production quality, including support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and supplier complaint handling (NCM, MRB, SCAR)
- Technically advise a team of quality engineers, technicians and operators in performing IQC and OQC
- Supporting risk analysis and risk mitigation identification
- Coaches and develops organizational talent

Optotune Slovakia is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to become an integral part of our Optoteam. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability. You will collaborate closely with our suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor supplier performance, and implement effective quality control measures. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with various teams to resolve any quality issues and drive enhancements throughout the product lifecycle. Personality requirements and skills
- Bachelor / Master degree in mechanical engineering, material engineering, physics or equivalent and 5+ years of related work experience
- Proven standing in resolving quality issues with large multinational companies
- Broad technical understanding in optics and microtechnology
- Experience in QA Software Tools and Processes (SCAR, 8D, CAPA, FMEA/Control Plan, SPC)
- Analytical thinking, proactive, and autonomous
- Structured data evaluation and reporting skills in project structures
- Excellent communication skills with fellow employees and suppliers
- Effective implementer and multitasker
- Fluent command of English (proficiency)
