Software Developer (m/f)

We are looking for a gifted software developer to join our team. You will be
delivering sustainable and scalable software solutions for Optotune’s desktop applications. You will
play an important role in a team participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Your main responsibilities:
• Developing software specifications based on stakeholder inputs
• Software development
• Testing, documentation and release of finished products
• Providing continuous support to existing software products
• Reporting project progress in review meetings
We require:
• Industry experience in application development in C# or Java using established architectural
concepts and design patterns
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL based database systems such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles such as unit and integration testing
• Basic knowledge in hardware-near programming and communication protocols is an asset
• Strong understanding of usability concepts and user-centered design
• Continuous integration
• Desire to challenge conventional thinking
• Excellent knowledge of English (Advanced), German would be considered an advantage
