Process Development Engineer - Industrialisation (m/f)

You are responsible for optimizing existing production processes and validating new technologies with respect to ease of integration into Optotune’s production lines. You accompany the transfer of these process modifications from engineering to production and maintain them in operations.
Your main responsibilities:
• Implementation and modification of production processes in particular high volume manual and semi-automated assembly processes
• Integration of test equipment in production lines
• Initiation and execution of yield improvement projects
• Planning and implementation of capacity improvement and cost reduction projects
• Process documentation and training of production workers
• Support equipment releases into production (IQ, OQ, PQ)
• Developing and maintaining technical and process relevant documentations
• Support DFMEA, PFMEA during product and process development phases
Qualifications:
• Degree in engineering, preferably with specialization in electrical, mechanical, process or industrial engineering
• 3 years experience in process development, industrialization of assembly steps, maintenance engineering, preferably in electrical or mechanical industry with approved knowledge in high volume production
• Strong hands-on mentality with knowledge and skills in assembly area
• Shows pleasure to work on production and test equipment
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be well organized, flexible, autonomous, hands-on
• Preferably knowledge in 3D CAD for design review
• Good knowledge of German and English
