Piping Quantity Surveyor Finland

to work with the Contract Responsible as a part of the Supply Chain team on OL3 site. The Quantity Surveyor will also be operationally linked with the Supply Contract Manager and will participate in managing the subcontractors on site. The duration of the position is approximately 12 months, depending on the project progress.

The main duties include measuring of quantities: checking and verifying contractor's measurement (physical quantities, contractual entitlement), checking contractor (labour and management time; costs of equipment; totality of material; stocks of materials and equipment; quantities of all the items) and undertaking costs analysis for preparing Additional Work Order and Contract Amendments, including bills of quantities. Besides this, you will be examining all quantum justification, evaluating prices and unit rates proposed, managing back charging and claim. Providing advice on contractual claims, analyzing outcomes and value in detail of all contractor progress reports, valuing completed work and arranging payments, maintaining awareness of the different contracts in current use and maintaining files for all measurement exercises is also a part of your role.
