Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Participates in establishing, implementation, monitoring and maintaining formal Information Security and Risk Management Frameworks
* Identifies, assesses and evaluates security risks, provides recommendations for remediation, suggests treatment options
* Provides technical assistance in the selection, configuration, and maintenance of security software, utilities and hardware of routine complexity
* Assists in the development of technical security standards to support policies. Monitors and enforces compliance with security policies, standards and guidelines
* Supports periodic infrastructure and application security assessments of routine complexity
* Responds to information security incidents, cooperate on resolution efforts
* Performs daily operations of information security systems and applications
* Collects metrics, performs analysis and draft reports
* Helps to execute Information Security projects and provides expertise as appropriate to projects led by other IT teams
* Keeps abreast of current risks, security issues, threats, protection strategies, and regulatory developments

* Technical expertise in information security domains, such as: network security, operating systems security, database security, web application security, cloud computing security, ethical hacking or security architecture, etc. is an advantage
* Knowledge and hands-on skills in the following areas: firewalls, intrusion detection systems, proxy servers, wireless, remote access, encryption, antivirus, DLP, security and risk assessments, content management, identity management, access control, etc. is an advantage
* Certification in information technology or information security (Cisco, MCSE, CNA, CISSP, CISA, CEH, Comptia Security+, etc.) is a plus
* Analytical and communication skills including problem solving
* Ability to demonstrate potential in leading technical discussions during analysis and troubleshooting issues
* Team player with good follow-up skills and ability to multi-task
* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills in English
