Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an Applications Engineering Manager to lead a team of Application Engineers in developing & promoting power discrete and modules products in power conversion applications. This position will provide leadership in developing system solutions using ON Semiconductor Corporation’s power devices and power modules.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Application Engineers in Roznov in developing power solutions for industrial, white goods & renewables applications
* Set up priorities, work schedules, ensure alignment to group objectives
* Mentor application engineers and help them achieve career growth
* Develop application engineering roadmap in collaboration with technical marketing team
* Generate collateral documents, provide technical training, write & present technical papers
* Design and present demos for trade shows and technical conferences
* Build and test hardware, software prototypes to verify new product performance
* Participate in regulatory and industry organization

* 5+ years of experience in power and analog design and applications
