Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Lead the regional security organization by working closely with multifunctional stakeholders responsible for all facilities within the region.
• Implement programs and policies to minimize the risks to our employees and other assets, enabling the success of the company.
• Lead the regional crisis management and business continuity efforts to help prevent, prepare respond to and recover from crises that may affect the safety or productivity of our sites.
• Conduct investigations into incidents that have occurred that could impact the safety of our employees or be counter to the best interests of the company.
• Analyze incidents across the regions and develop and implement corrective actions.
• Act as an expert consultant to our internal customers around issues of physical security and crisis management, providing recommendations on policies, system design, and risk reduction methods.
• Manage the relationships and performance of security services and systems vendors.
• Ensure that incidents are reported and recorded according to policy.
• Work across multiple time zones, including before and after normal office hours and to traveling up to 50% across the region and globally as needed.

Personality requirements and skills
• Experience in commercial security in a multinational corporate, addressing security risks/threats, compiling comprehensive and accurate reports and implementing approved mitigation measures in corporate settings and industrial/manufacturing facilities, leading Corporate investigations, corporate travel security programs
• Extensive experience operating in multiple countries with varied cultures, languages and risk profiles
• Proven ability to analyze security risks and develop strategies to combat those risks using sound judgement and professional knowledge
• Must be very analytical and process based
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multicultural and multifunctional stakeholders
• Project management experience
• Must be fluent in English in writing and verbally, other relevant languages are preferred
• Must be comfortable communicating with stakeholders, in English, up to and including senior executives
• Firm understanding of security technology around access control, intrusion detection and video systems required
• Be able to operate independent of direct day to day management
Preferred
• CPP, PSP,PCI or other applicable professional certifications
• ISO28000, or other certification experience
• Experience with administration of Lenel
• Military or law enforcement experience
• Extensive experience operating in multiple countries with varied cultures, languages and risk profiles
• Proven ability to analyze security risks and develop strategies to combat those risks using sound judgement and professional knowledge
