Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Requirements gathering/clarifying, design and development of internal software applications to support production of our internal clients at ON Semiconductor manufacturing facilities worldwide.
- Development of applications in Fortran and DCL languages.
- Third level support and assistance to the Global Support Team to resolve issues.
- Development of scripts in an internal procedural language of PROMIS MES.
- Communication with internal manufacturing clients.
- Participation on IT projects as a team member.

- Knowledge of VMS commands, DCL programming experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
- Analytical and communication skills.
- Result-oriented, good task prioritization and self-directed motivator.
- Team player with good follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with the teams/customers across multiple remote sites.
