Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Research questions using available information resources.
• Advise user on appropriate action.
• Follow standard help desk procedures.
• Log all help desk interactions.
• Escalate problems to appropriate resource.
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
• Prepare activity reports.
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
• Working with customers/employees to identify computer problems and advising on the solution.
• Logging and keeping records of customer/employee queries

Personality requirements and skills

• University or High School technical qualification.
• Ability to work on a different time shifts (afternoon).
• Previous experience in Help Desk position is an advantage.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Excellent communication skills (read, written and spoken).
• Analytical skills.
• MS Windows systems administration.
• MS Office applications.
• MS Active Directory.
• Common IT Knowledge.
