Job description, responsibilities and duties

Working with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's IP Telephony, Data and Security Product Portfolio, your role will be to provide installation, configuration and expert training in a professional manner to our customers. Based in Bratislava, you must also be willing to travel as part of the job when necessary, training on locations throughout Europe. To succeed, you must be organized, flexible, motivated and able to work independently.

• Co-ordinate trainings and ensure necessary resources are available
• Deliver training within time constraints.
• Communicate with trainees in a fluent and professional manner, translating complex technical data into easily digestible information.
• Solve any problems that arise during the course of training.
• Attend workshops to gain certification and expand your training portfolio
Requirements & Skills

• Educated at University level in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related subject OR equivalent experience

• Extensive knowledge of IP networks and IP Telephony
◦ TCP/IP protocols
◦ IPv4, IPv6
◦ Wireless networks: 802.11, radius
◦ Routing protocols: OSPF, RIP, BGP
◦ ISDN, SS7, SIP, VoIP
◦ IP Network (Fix & Wireless) Planning & Design

• Solid understanding of network concepts and internetworking technologies
◦ IPSec
◦ multicast, bridging
◦ QoS
◦ DNS, DHCP, ACL
◦ LAN, WAN, MAN

• Sound experience with Unix, Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

• Experience, preferably certification, with Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Systems, Avaya or Hewlett Packard products

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to speak with confidence and authority in front of groups of people and explain technical details fluently.
• Good time-management: essential to deliver training within timeframe.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Traveling is a necessary part of the job, you must be independent and organised.
