Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Graduate UI Designer role is to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. As UI Designer you will be working closely with development team within different phases of projects to ensure that the visual style and quality is maintained following Novartis Style Guidelines. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction

Key Responsibilities:

- Development of visual designs and concepts.
- Rapid prototyping, and collaboration with Experience designers and team members.
- Translate concepts into visuals representation.
- Own and govern the design’s look and feel producing visual assets that align with Novartis Corporate Brand Guidelines and applications visual standards.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary User Experience professionals and customers to envision, define and create end-to-end digital user experience.
- Implement UX concepts in collaboration with the Experience designer, including the definition of user needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows, user journey and use cases. Translate concepts into fantastic designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity.
- Define the User Interface design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows and validates it through usability testing.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
- Collaborate effectively in international project teams across different time zones and locations.
- Support scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects, in close collaboration with Project Management.
