Job Purpose

The role of the Senior Recruiter is to provide talent acquisition services to the business to support the hiring process for designated markets. You will develop detailed knowledge on specific assigned talent and functional markets, to be considered an expert in particular recruitment areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the end to end recruitment process. To make recommendations to drive decision making during the recruitment process.
  • To support hiring managers in terms of identifying appropriate recruitment strategies for open vacancies and to closely collaborate with the Sourcing team to drive direct and internal candidate sourcing and develop the talent pipeline.
  • To proactively identify, engage, qualify and develop candidates to ensure the right candidate is hired into the right role.
  • To manage offer construction and approval process.
  • To work in conjunction with the TAS team and global functions to ensure best practice: lead the identification, development and implementation of innovative global best practice Talent Attraction techniques, processes and systems to ensure high quality talent attraction.
  • To develop and maintain strong internal relationships, to influence hiring strategy decisions and effectively manage implementation. Manage communications with senior stakeholders and hiring managers within Novartis as well as with senior level candidates
  • To establish and maintain relationship with key stakeholders and vendors. Conduct regular meetings with hiring managers to update status of recruiting activities, hiring results and progress of candidates in the selection process
  • To build strong relationships with candidates and manage a high touch candidate experience.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Fluent English and desirable to have one other European language (in particular German)
  • Extensive experience in recruitment is essential with proven experience of successful direct hiring campaigns.
  • Pharmaceutical experience desirable but not essential.
  • Proven track record working in international multicultural environments; executive search or recruitment agency plus in-house or RPO on-site
  • Demonstrated ability to support customer needs from remote locations
  • Proven ability to engage with senior hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
