Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Take the responsibility for transforming the current organizations into the Novartis Business Services REFS model for the country
- Drive superior performance for all Real Estate & Facility Services and ensure that standards are aligned with the overall REFS framework and properly applied
- Establish a well performing operation that meets agreed service levels, drives operational excellence against defined benchmarks in line
- Co-lead local negotiations alongside with procurement as well as on-going vendor mgmt., providing adequate risk and control architecture, in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
- Manage the effectiveness and success across the country
- Own the transition strategy for NBS Real Estate & Facility Services for the country and implement all aspects of operational changes necessary to move from divisional set-up into the new cross-divisional model in line with the NBS Vision, achieving a balance between speed of implementation and risk of disruption to services
- Ensures that HSE&BC strategies are supported, championed and implemented in the respective REFS Site
- Insures that technical systems (i.e. access controls; CCTV; visitor management; operations centers) are in place and functioning
- Insures that all security related incidents are reported to the REFS Regional Security

- Experience of managing performance against Service Level Agreements combined with profound service mindset
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently
