Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a candidate for our cumulative position covering both shipping and customer service working duties.

- coordination of shipments (export/import)
- booking shipments based on customer order
- keeping shipment system in Lotus Notes updated
- following up on deliveries on a monthly basis
- request picking of spare parts from warehouse
- administration related to shipping - invoices, CMR and deliver note archiving

- communication with customers by phone, e-mails
- update of customer forecasts – follow up on regular input from customer
- order handling (receiving, entering, confirming)
- EDI handling
- claim handling (acc. to internal instructions )
- following up on delivery performance
- creating invoices on goods – invoicing of freight
- assist on accounting matters – invoice and credit note issues
- daily communication with other departments: logistic, finance, purchase

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

The position is suitable for a fresh graduate


Personality requirements and skills

- very good communication skills both oral and written (ability to communicate directly with the customers as well as with colleagues in order to solve issues; visiting customers together with the sales representative)
- pro-active and professional approach
- having the ability to manage multiple assignments and set priorities
- fluent English language
- computer literate (MS Office, internet)
- experience in shipping is preferred, but not necesarry
